Japanese Foreign Minister in town

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Motegi Toshimitsu is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka from 12-14 December with a view to further strengthening the bilateral relationship between Japan and Sri Lanka with the new Government of Sri Lanka.

Motegi will have a bilateral meeting with Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and pay courtesy calls on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on 13 December. Foreign Minister Motegi will discuss furthering the bilateral relations, including cooperation towards realising “Free and Open Indo-Pacific”.
