Mahaweli Week from 5 12 Oct

The Mahaweli Authority has decided to conduct a 'Mahaweli Week' from 5 - 12 October with the support of those in the agriculture sector, all government and semi government institutions, the farming community and the private sector encompassing the Mahaweli zones, in an effort to sustain the national food production programme. In a press release, they state that school children will be allowed to view the reservoirs under its purview during this time.
