Pakistan’s Army Chief here today

Pakistan's Army Chief, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, will be on a visit to Sri Lanka from today, (15) to 17 January on the invitation of Sri Lanka's Army Commander Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake. During his stay in Sri Lanka, General Bajwa will hold discussions on matters of professional interests with his counterpart, Lieutenant General Senanayake. He will also call on the top political and military hierarchy including President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe, in order to discuss issues of regional security and matters pertaining to mutual interest.
