Master And The Silver Screen: A Film Festival

The Khemadasa Foundation presents Master and the Silver Screen! A film festival to honour the memory of Khemadasa “Master” and his contribution to Sri Lankan film music. The event will be held at the Tharangani Film Hall.

This opens the opportunity for the public to see these great films from the past on the big screen, with the highlight being the screening of Hansa Vilak on the closing night. This Film, by Dharmasiri Bandaranayake, will be shown as DCP (Digital Cinema Package), the first such event in the country. There will also be discussions of the films held during the festival.
