PABC had done nothing illegal in g-secs transactions

Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC (PABC), which was handed a surprise 6-month suspension to its primary dealership (PD) operations this week, said it had not done anything outside the legal framework and would be appealing to the Central Bank in this regard within the next two weeks.

Three books on Sinhala theater by Dr Pathiraja

Veteran filmmaker Dr Dharmasena Pathiraja is hardly known to the present generation as a dramatist but it is ascertained that his early career was committed to the theater of Sri Lanka. Pathiraja, a University don, earned his Master degree (MA) from the University of Perdadeniya with a study titled ‘Sinhala Naatye Aakruthiya haa Anthargathaya athara Aragalaya’ (The struggle between form and content in Sinhala theater).
